Dandy Annual ?

Just managed to bag a 1973 Dandy Annual that i am lead to believe may be a rarity. It is i am told only one of ten issued that year with no date printed on the cover. As i am new to collecting can anyone give me more information on this?

Checked mine and it does, the one with Corky balancing a pud on his nose? Mine has a ripped spine though.

Been looking round and from what i can gather DCThomson only issued 10 Dandy's & 10 Beano's on this year (the only year they ever did it) with no date on the cover for promotional purposes, also it is in very good condition no tears, writing or price clipping.

Does anyone know where i can purchase some protective sleeves for these annuals?

I checked mine again and I have a Beano annual with no year on it. Beano covers the whole of the front cover in rainbow writing and Jonah is on the back. Mine has a ripped spine and a mashed corner though.

Should do mate, my 2000ads are stashed away so I can't grab one right away to test and my annuals are not mint to worry about protecting them.

I found my annual (1961) though, and perhaps this site has a sister version covering Dandy annuals.
