Avengers vs. X-Men

Anyone buying? #0 was out yesterday which I won't be able to pick up until Saturday. Thoughts so far?

Ordered mine from Midtown a couple of days ago after reading the "programme guide" that came with my latest Economic Comics order... I've also added both Avengers Vs X-Men and the related AvX run to my subscription lists.

Also ordered a couple of the DF #1 variants (which I'm not likely to get from Economic Comics) and some of the tie-in stuff which is just easier to buy from Midtown as one-offs instead of having to remember to add and remove them from my subscription...

Not sure who I want to win yet. Days gone by I'd have been straight up X-Men, but I need to catch up on a lot of stuff since Messiah Complex like Second Coming, Utopia and Schism to see what's going on and whether I'm with Cyclops or Wolverine...

Same with me, I've still got a lot of back story to read. There are a lot of tie-ins too, and with 2 AvX   issues released a month. The next 6 months are going to be expensive!

I stopped most of my comic subscriptions right after civil war ended for Marvel and the crossover event (can't remember name) for DC. Only titles I kept on buying were the Ultimate range.

Anyway when I went to pick up my comics today I added the AvX crossover to my subscription. There seems to be even more Avengers /Xmen titles around then ever whilst browsing the shelves.

At least Wolverine isn't in every team now like he was before

Probably the X-Men although I doubt the Phoenix will be bringing Jean Grey back.
Yet In still only buying The Avengers title and Vs title and not the X-Men. When Marvel stared  bringing out multiple titles of the same character or group my list rather than go up went down I'm fed up I have to read multiple titles the keep up with 1 story.
There's also a possibility I may pack in Marvel titles if Jean does come back at the end of the series.

Thats one of the main reasons I stopped reading. Loved Avengers until they started bringing out 3-4 titles and the same with X Men

Cyclops vs The Cap? aint this what all super hero comic fans signed up for!? Quality fun. But where` Prof X these days?

Edit: Just spotted your avatar - good to see someone else that remembers Centurions. Power Extreme!He was killed by Bishop at the culmination of Messiah Complex. Bishop believed the Mutant Messiah, Hope, would bring about the dystopic future he escaped, and tried to kill her, accidentally killing Professor X instead.

For the record - my Midtown Exclusive Skottie Young wraparound cover Avengers Vs X-Men #1 is awesome. Easily my favourite cover in a long while! Will try to get some pictures up tomorrow.
