Hard to comment without it all being spoilers but I always like Ramos artwork and enjoyed the story. Like all the covers as well and will pick up a set at somepoint along with the other mosiac final issue covers to match cover A.
Actual storyline ..
Not to sure where this will go but I like some points of it. Nice for a baddie to see things from PP side of the coin and all he has had to deal with. If that would be enough to turn him from the dark side not too sure but the way I read it he now thinks all the events that happened to peter happened to him and no memory of his life. Or is it a mixture of both memories. I also think PP memory that is left behind will be his soul as well for whenever they want to remove Doc Ock from his body.
The good point in the story is that normally it is written how it would be easy for a good guy to be a bad guy but they don't cross the line so this is a clever reverse which has been done before but not in such a major way. I can see the Batman becoming a Joker if he wanted but not the other way having said that Two Face has shown as trying to be good but always failing at some point so maybe depends on the badguy.
I'd put money on Amazing Spider-man being back before the 2nd new Spider-man film is out (is that summer '14 ?), if not sooner but probably not this year in comic releases. |
