Anyone remember the commando comic from the 70's-80's printed by DC Thompson. I have just discovered a ton of them and was wondering if they were worth anything.

Also found some Dandy and Beano comic library A5 magazines from the 80's

If they are worth nowt they are getting recycled. Just wondering that's all.

I doubt the Beano are worth anything at all, but the Commando/War may be - depends how old though as a lot of them were reprinted.

Sorry, that's not much help is it Stick them on ebay and see how you do, then let me know and I will offload mine.

I have some Starlord? ones as well - the same size, but SciFi issues.

I sold a load of commandoes a couple of years back, some fetched good money, some I should have just dumped given the low money they sold for. The best thing to do would be to look at the numbers, go on ebay and look at the completed sold listings for the ones you have and see if it's worth selling them. Selling in batches is a good idea as well. If you find that you have the more high priced ones, set them aside and bundle the rest up to sell.

I read them in the '60s, does that make me antique?
Condition is everything: if in top class they will command better prices.
