I've just read that Terry Pratchett has died, at the age of 66.  I know he had Alzheimer's but I didn't think that was actually life-threatening at this stage.  Very sad to read about that!

I have had an interesting conversation with a guy at work. He happens to be friends with Stephen Briggs, who had adapted a lot of Sir Terrys work for the stage. He is currently writing an original play honouring Terry's work, which will be staged next year.
