Not sure if it's just 1 footballer or if it's a few.
Has given an insight into the football world where  I was surprised to read that it's not how I thought it would be.

What was your view of the book?  I am interested in buying this one but haven't as I wonder if it's just playing up to the media view of footballers of being sex animals who are overpaid.

Anything of value within the book worth reading?

I really don't think it's that sort of book. I've not read it, but I have read some of the columns in The Guardian which (I think) the book is compiled from.

I'll probably get it myself sometime. As far as I remember from the column it's well written and quite compelling. I had my theory about who the author is but I never read enough to convince myself.

Bump to this thread. Read both the books from the Secret Footballer and I love them. There is a 3rd book now out focusing on the tactical side of the game. Very much looking forward to it.

No idea who it is, but a bloody good book.  There is a follow up.

I quite enjoyed the first one or two but didn't they milk it with several more? Or it may have been others jumping on the bandwagon.

Premiership psycho is worth a read, it won't be everyone's cup of tea but literally had me laughing out loud, not something that I often do from books. Its on kindle so the free sample is available.
