Just saw an apperance by Peter Hamilton at a FP, listed on their latest flyer for their London branch.

Prompted me to look at his own website to see if a tour was announced and while not on his owns site, it is on the waterstones page.  Sure I have signed up for their emails and listed him as an interest but I dind't get anything about these events.

None in Manchester sadly but within driving distance I guess so not impossible to get to one.

I loved his last book, so cannot wait for this. Can't remember if it's a two parter or trilogy but don't mind either way really.

Got a few new ones since I last met Aberrombie and never met Lloyd before.

Found some ace images from Pinterest, now to get some A3 prints done.
Cost under £2 online and I collect from a shop near me.

Just need a good one for new book so if anyone sees one this week please post.

image 6 is unrealised Judas Unchained but image 7 didn't have a tag but maybe Pandora's Star unused cover, told my boy all about the alien race and the Dyson sphere and the general gist and got really interested and it's on his list now.

He is trying to finish the Joe Abercombie Half a World Trilogy before the signing though but glad he is reading some cool stuff now.

Got some of his but not read, but his new one foot a cracking review in this months SFX.

Great Q and Aast night.

Scott Lloyd was by far the most popular one there, and I have never heard of him.

Big wait for book four for him and very rarely does signing events in the US let alone over here.

Pretty funny guy, said how he often has arguments with past selves of himself over the writing taking place now compared to their plans five and ten years ago.

I told him it sounded like a cool idea for a sci fi show and the opposite of the Red Dwarf episode with the future and future selves.

Both Joe and Tom also gave some rely interesting answers.

And maybe a Gemmell secret got leaked... Plus Joe told me a funny Gemmell story.

I told Joe how david had given up on his book and he wrote a great note to him.

He has taken it to school so post later.

All the prints come out well but I forgot my silver sharpie. Might get a white border on the quote ones for next time.

He is reading a big Deathnote collection, maybe at 12 a bit young for fantasy but he did like the Hobbit.
