I don't know why but I've never really bought any non-fiction books - aside from a couple of tomes on the Titanic (which I still find interesting) and the usual "1001 movies you must see before you die..." type books

Damn.  I've done it again.  Thought I'd throw a bid out for a copy of Soho (mint, signed 1st/1st) which was up for £49.99...got accepted at £26.  Wasn't expecting that

lol I really need to stop doing that, and I'm still so tempted by that Scott Lynch one...it's calling me...

Mighty kind of you, do you want my paypal address?

In my ignorance I am assuming those are comics?

I bought my first one a few months back - The Walking Dead #1-48 Compendium.  Read the first few pages and it felt utterly weird looking at a book rather than reading it....

Well I think I just picked up a 'as new' 1st edition Rivers Hardback. Confirmed as first by the seller and listed as Hardback, but likely to be a 17th edition paperback knowing my luck. Will confirm when it arrives...

Signed? Go on, how much did you get it for...

I've just made 2 final purchases before a 6 [-]months[/-] days buying break

Moon Over Soho just arrived, 1st/1st signed (not lined or dated though), lovely mint condition...and I managed to get it for £29 inc p p

And finally I couldn't resist the Lies of Locke Lamora 1st/1st....got it for £50 exactly, so quite pleased with that tbh

lol nice one. Do you go for the 'damaged' Lies, or the other one?

And no, Rivers is not signed, but I am hoping I get a chance to get my books signed at some point, hopefully within the next few months....

I went for the "damaged" one, I like it, especially the arrow and "sorry!"

I wonder how popular these are going to get?

Just got my Goldsboro book club newsletter - some nice books-of-the-month coming up!   I want almost all of them which is great
