Hi Chaps I,m off to Seattle in september for a few days.
Being a Bruce lee fan,I,m going to visit his grave,go to his exhibition among other things.
I,ve always wanted to try and see whales in the wild and it seems Seattle is a good place for this.

Has anyone on here been to Seattle and been on a whale watching ferry?

I've been twice - my brother lives there with his family now.

I've not done whale watching myself but my parents went with my brother and his family when they visited him last (coincidentally they're off to Seattle this weekend for three weeks!).  I believe they took a tour to the San Juan Islands, but I'll try to find out.

Any other questions on Seattle in general, feel free to ask and I'll do my best to answer

It can feel like it outside summer, but the summer season is fantastic for around 3 months, with little rain.

Quite a few.

This one is opening on Sunday but I've visited their location by Century Link Field when I went to see the Seahawks play. Elysian Brewing Company - Seattle, Washington

This one is in Pike Place Market and does good food.  I had a pretty nice hot dog the last time we visited The Pike Pub — Pike Brewing Company

And this one was my favourite, in Capitol Hill:
About our Beer Hall — Optimism Brewing Company
We ordered in pizza from a local pizzeria but they also get food trucks coming in and parking up to sell food.  The beer was fantastic.

If you google seattle brew pubs, you'll get loads of hits.

Do you know where you'll be staying yet?
