City break suggestions

Hi all,

Currently looking at destinations for next year (me/wife) and we've already booked one for January which is Budapest.

We are looking to go Krakow in August and was considering doing Lisbon/Madeira but I'm not completely convinced on Madeira?

We also looked at Rome and Athens.

Can anyone give any suggestions or ideas or experiences they've been on.

We were also looking at Rhodes in October due to a good price.

Just been to Malaga. Lovely city, friendly, clean and cheap. Food is excellent too.

I went to Prague with my wife in February for a long weekend and it was great!

if you want to go to Maderia - then funchal is the place to stay, and the old town at that...

Berlin is my favourite city so far out of the ones ive visited , Prague and Krakow are both nice.

We did prague last January and it was great. We have ended up booking Krakow, Rome & Athens but at the same time we are combining Athens with 4 days in Rhodes.

Rhodes is great - especially the old town, lovely to walk around...

Lindos is also great, sadly the towns inbetween the 2 aren't that great (we got buses down that stretch)...

we didn't go anywhere else tho.

We did Madeira in the spring and Krakow in the autumn this year and I can highly recommend both.

Krakow is great, I was there a few months ago. I heard good things about Lisbon and Porto in Portugal aswell.
