Just wondering if anyone is doing the Modball Rally in June this year at all? If you don't know what it is its a road trip, not a race and this year from London to Vienna via Paris, Lyon, Monaco. www.modball.com or check out the start from last year in Pall Mall:

We are going in my BMW M4 which not standard at all. You can check my build and follow the rally on our instagram page: Modball 2018 Team Drive Hard (@team_drive_hard) • Instagram photos and videos

Cheers

Well I went for the Luxury package so was £1K more. The famous Gumball Rally is/was around £20K per car!

There is a hell of a lot of organisation required and it includes 7 nights in 5 star hotels, VIP bar/club entry’s, private day on the track, luggage ferried around, channel crossings etc

Thought I would do it this year instead of having a lazy two weeks by the see/pool.

I’m not doubting the package contents

I spend about £1500 / person doing my annual road trip, but i stay in 3/4 star hotels and settle for a pizza and a beer in the evenings

Seems good value for money actually. I’d love to join that one day. Still too busy making money to pay for it.

Sounds like great fun. Enjoy.

Yes definitely can see that happening. It’s fun and easy to get drawn into the buzz of it all. Definitely needs an understanding other half and helps to have some deep pockets or sponsors

I’ll keep following progress.

Haha yeah, there is the "Dodgeball Rally, Rico Rally, Pure Rally, Gumball 3000 rally, etc.

Sponsors, I did very well with!!

BMW themselves gave me a Carbon front splitter (worth around £1150), and a Carbon rear lip spoiler (Around £500).GAD Tuning are providing me with their stage 2.5 upgrade which will bring it up to around 550bhp and 780nm @ the wheels! Includeds, software, custom catless downpipes (around £600), charge/boost pipes from forge (£450) and Pipercross filters (£110) all free of charge and fitting.Only paying a 1/3 of the cost for a full wrap of the car (saving around £1200)Michelin im in talks with at the moment as they might be sending me their MPS4 tyres worth £256  a corner (free of charge)My local bodyshop/workshop is. doing all the work (coilovers, fitting the carbon bits (some not mentioned as I bought myself),  M performance exhaust, spacers, etc.G-Power from Germany is giving me there engine monitoring gauge that fits perfectly into one of the vents of the car and displays loads of stuff as its wired (not spliced) into the wiring connections (€900 but free again!)So I managed to get loads of gear for free and heavily discounted. Will an article on us by two local papers (online and newspaper) so might be able to pick up a few more sponsors to cover some of the fuel etc cost.

Like I mentioned before, check (and follow us to help support please!) out our instagram page for the build progress and rally: Modball 2018 Team Drive Hard (@team_drive_hard) • Instagram photos and videosModball 2018 Team Drive Hard (@team_drive_hard) • Instagram photos and videos

Thanks, like the old saying, if you don't ask you don't get! It will look good, it has to 'try and fit in with the likes of Aston Martins, McLaren P1's, Ferraris, Lambo etc etc
