Car servicing confusion

The wife's 2012 Kia Rio 1.4 Petrol is due a service, had a major service last year at 36k miles, it's now on 46k miles.
Will it need another major service or just an interim?
Kia want £300 for a service but my local garage will do a major for £200 or Interim for £80

Should be interim service. It usually goes something like A B A C A B A C

A = Interim
B = Interim
C = Full

It will be outlined in the owners manual.

£300 for a service on a Kia Rio! Blimey I'd tell them where to go and never return. That is an outrageous price.

Thanks, turns out it's just the interim.
Booked it in at my local garage. ;-)

Good decision. Ask them to use Kia parts where required. Won't make a big difference in price. Do you have balance of Kia 7 year warranty to maintain?
