No doubt in my mind: CROOKS.
I'm not sure that you can take it very far (hard to prove it and will be a juicy profit for the legal profession), but I'd definitely press gor some compensation. Your financial position influenced you into buying a well-used car and you were paying a lot extra for insurance. The palava they led you through was more than just inconvenience, but a worry to your finances. I suggest initially asking for £500 and perhaps settle for £200. Don't accept a free service or MoT because you never want yo use them again. Don't threaten unless they refuse any compensation; then maybe suggest that you'll take it to the police and report fraud. |
