The new A class looks lovely, but I just can't understand the pricing. Starting off at £25,800 for the entry level diesel or £27,500 for the petrol - before you get to the options list to actually make it look anything like the nice photos and getting the two full large screens etc.
An Audi A4 is only 2k more, starting from £27,815 - but after discounts is only £22,106 from a broker. Far better value for a larger car, and for something that also has a very nice interior. The options I'd want to add are also, broadly, less expensive on the A4...
I'm sure plenty of people will still buy them, but, financially it just doesn't seem to stack up to me unless MB expect to sell them all on finance/leases. |
