The Official page says the history check is not yet available: Check the MOT history of a vehicle - GOV.UK

I'd avoid putting in a reg number on that site.

Just put my bike reg in, the details seem spot on.
What could be dodgy about it?
It's not like they've asked for passwords/addresses/bank details.
Looks legit to me, just a 'beta' version which will eventually end up with a .gov.uk address.
It's not much of a scam if all they're doing is giving me facts about my own bike....

No, I just think mods are human and perhaps every now and again they don't get it just right. A bit of give and take I think is useful before calling someone an 'entitled asshat'.

And yet you seem to have deleted your post.

It seemed to me that the right decision was made in the first instance to move it to motoring where it belonged, you didn't like the fact and argued that it wasn't apparently a motoring subject (I still don't get why you wanted it in GC when we have a perfectly good motoring section - in which it's had more views) and so took it upon yourself to repost it in GC because you feel you've been here long enough that you can do as you please.

If it's the case that latitude is granted to long term members then surely it means I should be given the same discretion to bend or break forum etiquette too? No good blaming me for you making yourself look bad.
