I have one of those (my second). Yours did 17mpg! That's good, I reckon mine is doing just into double figures. Whoever designed it hated the environment.

It's a CAT D Orvis edition with 30k miles and I paid £1300 for it on an X plate. Proper work horse, I love it.

Only problem is that it is not exactly big. If my 11 year old sits behind me I have his knees in the back of my seat. I also struggle to think how anybody 6ft plus would even be able to drive one. I am 5ft 8 and have the seat all the way back.

I'm 5'10" & don't recall any issues. Perhaps they left a bit out when yours was cut & shut.

Funny you should say that as im umming about the 3.0d X3, I also like the Disco Sport but the BMW 6 cylinder engine and Great Autobox puts the BMW ahead. My Landrover mechanic who did a lot of work in my Freelander transmission drives one and he says the BMW engines and transmissions are bullet proof!  I currently drive an X Drive  335 Diesel Touring which for long journeys is unbeatable and it will pass nearly everything on the road!
