Just be careful fitting new fronts if the rears are fairly worn, as the 4WD system can confused by the different diameters and think you have wheel spin. This causes mild surging and changes in balance as it shifts the power around.
Tyre pressure warning sensors have an annoying habit of causing corrosion of the alloys, leading to leaks around the valve base. We had to have 2 alloys swapped under warranty on our last Ford because of this. Having said that, the cold weather has thrown up warnings on the Ford this morning, even though there's no loss of pressure, so it might be temperature related. |
