They are pretty bullet proof to be honest mechanically but obviously all due care should be taken with the engine. I had a 170 bhp tdi, a 2015 should have the 184 bhp if it's a diesel your looking at. Mine was also a DSG.
Interior wise I would check the front seats for movement when pulling them forward for people to get in and out of the back. If it is a GT model then check that all the functions on the adaptive chassis control work. You should feel the steering get a little sharper and the suspension a little harder when selecting sport. In sport it will turn in tighter.
Outside shoulder of the front tyres do tend to wear out quicker (on diesels). Brakes have a very good feel, strong and progressive. They are a delight to drive. It's been almost five years since the Scirocco and I parted company and it never missed a beat, didn't have to go back to the dealer once.
