I say new it's a 2015 VW Passat GT 2.0tdi covered 14,000 miles and bought from VW.

When the car gets hot at around 1.5 to 2.5 on the rev range as you cycle through the gears there's a noticeable vibration noise under load, doesn't do it if you just rev the engine, has anyone experienced anything similar?

Really trying to avoid taking it back as it's a two hour round trip!

Its under manufacturers warranty so you can take it to your local vw dealership.

Yeah I know, but I also know how shocking my local Inchape VW is, il contact the place I got it from when it opens and go from there, they did explain the car had a 30 day or 1000 mile exchange policy, I hope it doesn't come to that though.

Sounds like gearbox/clutch/dual mass flywheel.

Always start with the simple things. Do you have all wheel lug nuts tightly fitted

I was worried on my Audi A4 Quattro that I had some serious issue, then I noticed that one of the lug nuts was gone....Fitted another, tightened up all wheels and the car was smooth again...

No courtesy cars available so waiting to hear if they have a salesmans car to lend me then il drop mine off, just hope they find the issue, it's a lovely car besides the vibration noise.

Similarly had a car which had weird vibrations under acceleration that disappeared or sometimes remained at speed.
Turned out to be a loose wheel balance weight travelling around the rim

It was the heater pipes vibrating when they expand going through the bulk head, fixed by VW.
