At least that car had a chance of exceeding the limit. Many owners of 2CVs or Robin Reliants probably never met the aspiration of getting the ticket for speeding on a motorway

Ah! The 2CV! Probably one of my best summers ever. I had a holiday job on a farm in 1982, driving tractors, combines, making sure all the vehicles were fuelled in the morning before harvesting. And the farm hack was a roll-top 2CV, brilliant fun round the roads of the Lincolnshire Wolds, collecting fish & chips or packed lunches, and eating them in a part-harvested field with fellow workers - hard-graft, but still at school, so no real responsibilities - great memories!

Experienced mountain driver here......decent discs / pads / fluids will be fine. Yes, they’ll get hot but no fading.
