Service before returning?

My car is coming to the end if it’s PCP term on the first of April. It is due a service 22nd of March... I have a new car coming tomorrow so asking that my old car is collected next week which is before the service is due. Should I be servicing it before return or just get it picked up and hope for the best...?!

If returning before 22nd March it doesn't need servicing.

You normally have 1k miles and/or 1 month, for your next pcp get the first service done at month 13 (just before) and you won't need another until month 25/26, all perfectly acceptable.

Check your contract and/or check with the finance company. I’ve had PCPs where as long as the car was not due/overdue a service and/or MOT on the day of collection then that was fine, and other contracts where any service or MOT charge nnthe month leading upto collection were required otherwise penalties would be levied. There is no consistent universal approach, so checking this out for your particular contract is the only way to be sure.

I believe you can return it early, i.e just before the 1 month/1,000 mile service light comes up.
