Hello, I own a Seat Leon MK1 1.8 Turbo. About 2 weeks ago the turbo started to whistle pretty hard. The performance didint go down and I don't see any smoke at all. Does anyone know what could be wrong? I would like to fix it!
Here's a short video, if you listen good you can hear it!

Might be the waste gate or just an air leak. There's quite a lot of lag from the sound of it, so I would imagine it's losing pressure somewhere.

Whistling normally points to an induction leak, unless its the actual turbo thats whistling.

Check the intercooler pipework, the retaining clips can let go and the pipework comes apart.

Also, have a look at the intercooler, it may be split.
