You can get proper vacuum hose of different inner and outer sizes, also right angle and straight joints if needed, ask in a car parts shop or search the bay, will be much better and permanent compared to washer tubing.
thanks if all else fails this is my backup. shame i would have to spend £50 for something that should be pennies as the map sensor doesnt need replaced.
new vacuum hose arriving today so hopefully its the right size and goes over the tapping - and stays put.
on the original, the connector has split (the bit that goes over the tapping) sorted with a cable tie for now and the connector also sheared off the main pipe which is sorted with epoxy for now.
