Try BeMoto , but you are in for a huge shock as the theft risk "commuting to school " is off the scale

Best I could find for my 16-year-old granddaughter on a scooter was Carole Nash. But even that was £550. Breakdown cover included as standard & the renewal was reasonable. Cash back available from the usual sources. Bizarrely comprehensive was cheaper than TPF&T but the premiums & excess are both ludicrous.

Have you got anything like these running near you?
The first is a charity that hires bikes to teenagers to help them get to places to be educated and trained.

Or these look like a commercial outfit.
Prices - Scoots Hire

Back when I had my 50cc I found commercial insurance brokers viciously expensive but the bike shop who sold me the bike cut their prices by 75% selling me a policy with the wheels.
It was a LONG time ago but young riders needing insurance must still be an obstacle to selling bikes - worth speaking to a couple of dealers perhaps?

Youngest one (18) is paying approx £500 for a Yamaha MT125 and my eldest (20) is paying approx £600 for a Kawasaki Ninja 125. Both TPF&T only and garaged at home. Both have been riding since 16...
