Just a couple I can think of for now.

I know someone called Tony Sighe and he had the plate: MR51 GHE.

I regularly see a Fiat with the plate: PV55 CAT.

Have seen a Jag XF with the plate MY** XFS which I first assumed was a garage plate advertising the car as it was around March time and was out for a test drive but I have seen it a fair number of times now so I suspect it is someone who genuinely wanted that on their car

Once saw an old car with H15 EXY but the 5 had been spaced to make it look like HI SEXY
There was an M3 round this way with L4 YME which had been spaced to look like LAY ME but I think this has been moved to another car now as I seem to remember spotting the reg recently
Also used to see a red Audi TT (can't remember the year) with the reg TT** RED..... as if you need to advertise the make and colour of your car.....

My next door neighbour had a 5-series, reg BMW 666.

There used to be a 911 Carrera around here with B1 CEP, but I haven't seen it recently.

Under the old system, the letters OO were Essex. There was a dairy in Colchester, I think, which had all its milk floats with MOO- reg's.

Back in the 60s, buyers of new Mercedes 600s were guaranteed a -600 registration. They'd scour the country for an available mark.

Used to see an RX7 back home with the plate "3VOM". When its in your rear view mirror, it says "MOV3", found it quite funny.
