Haven't read the books (yet): still LOVED it

I loved this pilot. I ordered the trilogy of books right after finishing the episode.

The acting is incredible, cinematography is beautiful. This is clearly an expensive show and it's reflected on the screen! From the wardrobe (YES MRS. COULTER!) to the locations and, perhaps most importantly (for this story), the CGI is pretty mind-blowing.

There's really nothing I love more than complicated, slightly evil (but is she REALLY?), beautiful women with a great fashion sense. Ruth Wilson as Mrs Coulter is all of this and more. I'm so interested in learning more about that character and Ruth Wilson absolutes stole the show in the pilot and she was barely in it. Basically, I'm IN!
