It started off well.
Interesting and pertinent stories and characters, well rounded and well portrayed.
However, in the third episode it seemed to go off the deep end as undesirable characters and terrible situations had an overwhelming large percentage of screen time. Additionally, some characters we do identify with and hope for, reach new lows.
Maybe this is only a temporary rut that can be remedied in future episodes but really talented producers should be aware of the fact that some of their audience will disconnect if they see an endless pattern of doom and gloom.
