I am a 35 year old mom, and the first time I watched this show was with my 6 year old daughter. Now I am not sure which one of us is more excited to see the next episode. Magic is mysterious and an instant draw for kids. Plus anything with high school kids will be interesting for younger kids because they can't wait to be big themselves. Although some the acting may be a bit over dramatic, that makes it fun. Younger kids like over dramatic, and that also makes it easy for kids to know when someone is doing something wrong versus when someone is doing something right. This show is silly and fun and has some hidden lessons kids don't even realize they are getting. Although older kids may think it is lame, this show is perfect for my six year old, and her 35 year old mom.
