I really wanted to like this show, because I thought the SciFi concept behind it was very interesting (though not terribly original). I also found the filming photography and soundtrack to be very attractive. It's certainly artistically done in some senses.
However, where this show fails is with the empty, unlikable characters and lack of any real driving plot. None of the characters bat an eye at murdering relatively innocent people and they're very quick to jump to that as a solution to a problem, laughing about it immediately afterward. Idiotic mistakes drive what little there is of a plot. Instead of advancing the story, the writers spend about half of the screen time with pointless sex scenes, while the other half is split between unrealistic violence and some plot. It's deceptively vapid.
I was very disappointed in this show.
