Any  members going to the 2020 open at Sandwich? It's local ish for us so have booked tickets for the Friday as we want to see all the big names trying to make the cut .

Bloody hell USPGA have changed it up on these Fedex Cup playoffs , 2000 points for the winner of the Northern Trust this week . Considering a Major is only 600 points this will be a big move up the rankings . Win the Fedex Cup this year and a cool $15 mil one will pocket , no wonder all the top European players flock to it.

Watching this golf tournament on Sky at the Liberty National Golf Club, it's making me think I have not seen a golf course in the world that has a backdrop as amazing as this. Anyone think of any beaters?

Whilst the backdrop is iconic the course ( watching on tv ) does little for me as rather bland .

Now for course and backdrop I would not mind a round at the Crans-sur-Sierre (Switzerland)as both course and backdrop are quite stunning .

This Fedex Cup playoff is a back to front event . Pro golfers are basically playing off handicaps where the last three events of the season does not tell the story of how one as played throughout .

Pro golfers being handicapped ! In the worst way possible , Really .......

Well done Rory , winner of the Tour Championship and Fedex Cup only the second player to have two fedex cups . Without doubt been the most consistent player on the USPGA this year and his stats show witness to that .

Well done Rory from me too. Very consistent over the year but still needs to win more to cement his legacy.

Personally was at a lesson yesterday for my driving. Halleujah! On the range we fixed it - widen stance, weaker right hand grip, better takeaway and full turn of shoulders through impact- now just need to replicate it on the course.
