The Goodbye Girl wasn't a great movie. I didn't really like it. This movies acting was not very good. I didn't think Patricia Heaton played her part well. She didn't seem to feel her role. She didn't seem very into it with her emotions. Jeff Daniels and her didn't really connect well. I would not recommend this movie to a friend. I thought that it had its good parts. Jeff Daniels had his funny parts and Hallie Kate Eisenberg who played the role of Lucy McFadden also played her part well. She made you feel what it was like to be a young child in this kind of situation. This was not the kind of movie I would go out of my way to watch. I didn't think i would like this movie and i was right.
