People should know doctors are generally respectable, but once in a while there's a scumbag among them, cases like bad judgements, deliberately prescribing wrong medicines to prolong medications, using medical reasons to harass patients are not uncommon. a person without much knowledge will generally succumb and choose to trust the doctors decisions. the majority of drugs are only dealing with the symptoms rather then the actual problem, some drugs are even terrible, like chemo drugs and antibiotics are bad and even useless, with the side effects that leads to other problems. when in doubt, always do your own research and get a second opinion from different doctors.
