Remarkable acting by the drunk father, brought up way too many memories of an alcoholic family for me. Scenery was beautiful, although the decapitated heads at the end seemed a little unreal, halloween store like. An excellent job by the two boys/men and Caroline. Very impressive for a first film. Neil Patterson does such a real job at the podium, a great school principal. I was overwhelmed with the pain of the things we pass on to our children, willingly and unwillingly.
