Which is to say that its better than the one that comes before this one. That said, you start with a conversation and a police car blowing up. Jesse gets back his job given that his vile town counsellors have no one else to give the job to! I cant give this more than 5 simply as for me the idea as to who the "chief villain" is proven to be couldn't really be likely. Interesting shoot out at the end but Jesse Stone lacks in his own character, doesn't speak very much and is trying to be a modern Sherlock Holmes. Never quite understand the appearance of William Sadler either as "boxing promoter" Gino Fish, who is a criminal but never gets arrested for anything. I don't see that as being particular modern policing.
