While being cooped up I have watched tons of TV and I especially like Brish, Australian and now Irish cop shows. I didn't realize Red Rock was a Soap Opera until midway through the first season. And for soap lovers, it won't disappoint. There is plenty of people overhearing conversations, there are lies aplenty, dumb decisions, people refusing to share critical information & keep it to themselves, and oh, did I say dumb decisions? Yeah, I guess I did but it was worth repeating.
The criminals are dumb muppets and the cops are even dumber. The show does have it's moments. However, toward the end of season 2, I began disliking the show, but for the life of me I just couldn't stop watching it. If you like soap operas, you'll like this show.
