His topics are pretty generic and uninspired, especially for the time this was recorded, but he's super genuine, charismatic and fun.
I really hope he gets more specials because he's infinitely better than all the cringy "comedians" Netflix usually pushes.
He also has this semi-intellectual quality Dave Chappelle has, where the things he says make a lot of sense and are really reasonable, but he also manages to go from thoughtful to funny in a snap.
It's cool, watch it and support this dude.
If I gotta criticize something, it's how he put audience members on the spot to no comedic effect. That happened several times, it was awkward, unfunny and made me feel bad for the audience members he used, in order to try and launch a few jokes off of. (predictably, one was a white guy and the other was a religious guy)
