After seeing season 2 and 3, I wrote this:
This show has some chilling cases that really get under your skin, but they do a great job of being respectful to the victims and their families. They also include survivor stories, which adds a dimension that you just don't get when it's a 'all-murder' show.
Then I saw the first 2 episodes of season 4 and they really hit me hard. Too hard. Spoiler - both are about the violent rapes and murders of teenage girls. It felt like they were showing more violence. I sometimes draw while I watch so maybe I missed it before, but it was MESSED UP. Suddenly I'm second guessing whether I like True Crime at all anymore.
