Only because it's Emir Kusturica

I can only rate this with 5 stars for it's a Kusturica film, because of the great movies he made. One can surely expect a much deeper characters and stronger plot from this great director, but instead you get an extraordinarily beautiful photography, amazing camera moves, but one dimension characters, shallow storyline ... I believe the movie should have focused on the first half, enriching the events withint the village, and ends with Kosta and the bride flying away from the tree, all the rest was just Tom & Jerry.
Still consider Emir Kusturica one of the greatest filmmakers ever.
