Thank god the finished the story I had been waiting 10 years to see, and they pulled no punches! This isn't a fairy tale, or a farce, this is hardcore, non relenting story and action combined with a lesson on how imbecilic human nature can be. Some of the fights were confusing, and it did look like TV production, but all that is overlooked simply because it does not matter. This is a very good adaptation, and it wasn't a complete retelling of the story. There were twists and turns, and not the ending you would expect... See this movie, it's worth whatever you spend on it. I would have to say it stands next to Crying Freeman as one of the best Manga to Movie adaptations currently available.
