I was looking forward to a great example of 1960s camp, but was severely disappointed. The dialogue was flat, the scenes plodded along with excruciating dullness and very little attention was given to the costumes and sets. I was actually embarrassed to watch so many great stars try to make the picture work. Clearly, this movie is an early example of Hollywood cashing in on a best seller. Did everyone really need the money THAT bad?!
