If you want to see a movie filled up with clichés, bad script and unreliable acting, you should go for this movie.
What I didn't like:
Andy Garcia's role as a gangster. Filled with clichés. Does Garcia even believe in his own role?
Dr. Love turns around and unmotivated he immediately looks up on the top of the roof on a high building and in a split-second on long distance against the bright sky. Does Dr. Love recognize the woman he seeks to save the unreachable love of his life?
Dr. Love hanging in one hand in an antenna out from a roof and in the other hand holding a long shawl with a pop-star at the end beneath him - I can understand, why they didn't show, how they got out of that one. How did they?
How much blood did Gina need to save her life. If it was a total blood transfusion, could blood from one person then save her life, and how much blood can one person really spare?
All these questions and many more will be answered in the next episode of Soap.
I could go on for ever with flaws from this movie, but that would be a never ending story. You can fill a movie with poetry, but when you don't believe the actors and the script is bad and filled up with clichés, this poetry only becomes an empty shell of nothing.
No if you want to see the real deal, you could try Amores Perros out - here with a believable Garcia - no not Andy but Gael Garcia Bernal and no this is not made in Hollywood - thank God for that.
