This show is absolutely amazing! It takes a couple episodes to get going but the wait is well worth the reward. The incredible cinematography perfectly captures the eerie landscape of Tasmania that fuels the intrigue of this True Detective- like story line. While all the performances are well done, I'd have to stay that Matthew Testro as Freddie Hopkins is an absolute stand out. His portrayal of such a complex character is undeniably brilliant. Swaying between masterful understatement and unexpected turns he is truly intoxicating on screen.
This show is an undeniable win for the Australian market and definitely worth the watch!
