Not even close to reality

This show is a decent enough show but nowhere near reality . I say this because the show does not take into account for the taxes these people have to pay on what they win . For instance many of the episodes show people winning one million from a state lottery or Powerball and the host brags that " wow " they won a million dollars and how great it is that they have a million dollars to spend on a house . But , after taxes on winning a million dollars they would be lucky to walk away with $600,000 cash . Then the host is encouraging the lucky winners to spend $400,000 on a new home which is beyond ridiculous because they could not even afford the yearly property taxes or the electric bills after spending so much on a house . No reality at all .
