I hated the original and gave it 2 stars. This is triple that. The connective tissue helps but it still feels disjointed, awkwardly paced, and has just a not great script; especially when it comes dialogue. There's weird music choices and janky CGI too. It was fine.
It went from hate this thing to it was alright, which is the best you can hope for with reshoots and reframing, probably. Going into detail would involve spoilers and I don't anybody would care about the specific plot holes that most bother me.
So, there it is.
