It is hard to find a good movie that is not violent or scary. Even though there are plenty of ghosts in this movie, their purpose is tightly in line with the plot and not scary. There is one scene involving a fireplace that is so cruel and abhorrent I almost turned it off. It last only a few seconds and I'm glad I didn't turn the movie off. The issue became an integral part of a plot point later in the movie. Dame Maggie Smith is, as always, exceptional as was her grandson who has the starring role. I would recommend this movie and may even watch it again!
