Dontsurf69 takes issue with Blackbeard's real name appearing as Thatch as opposed to Teach but his information is wrong. The name Teach is often used taking lead from the best selling 'General History of Pirates'. However most of the primary sources documenting the life and piracy of Blackbeard refer to him as Thatch.
