When a freak bolt of lightning strikes near a power plant, the titular PULSE is unleashed. Traveling through high tension wires, the vicious voltage arrives in suburbia. Weirdness occurs right away, resulting in unexplained, fatal "accidents". Over time, it becomes clear that some sinister intelligence is at work, enacting an agenda that it alone understands.
Enter young David (Joey Lawrence), in town to stay with his dad and his new wife (Cliff De Young and Roxanne Hart). David is the only one who seems to suspect a problem, and since he's a kid, no one believes him. Can he convince the oblivious adults before everyone gets a real... jolt?
A slow-building horror film, PULSE saves most of its thrills for the big finale. You will never look at your TV or household appliances in quite the same way again!...
