Loved it! Loved it! Loved it! I watch it every time it comes around the tube. In there with all the Doris Day, James Garner, Carey Grant comedies of the sixties. Bob Hope at his dead pan best, a la Bob Newhart or any of the feel good comedy kings of the sixties.
Take a journey back in time to when the world was Norman Rockwell safe and sane, happy and full of good surprises! The worst thing middle class males had to worry about in the early 60's was a non-married eligible male moving into the suburban neighborhood. Imagine their horror when they discover Jack Arnold is a romance novelist smoothie living within striking distance of their marriage!
Jack is NOT after the women, but the women are after him for all the right reasons! He is caring and sensitive and a good listener. If you love good natured fun and near miss close encounter high jinks of Bob Hope "Road to" movies, you'll love this one. Ten stars.
