The first of the Mario Bros. cartoons was excellent. They had so many great stories, placing Mario and the gang in worlds of the first two games or even completely new worlds. I think they even went to a construction site resembling Mario's first appearance in video games. Sometimes they would air Legend of Zelda cartoons that were equally impressive. If you can ever find this series on the air, WATCH IT!
