Hugo is going home for the holidays with his best friend Maddy. His mom, awaits them and puts them to work inmediately since she is the president of a Christmas Society, but little does Hugo know she also has some plans of her own. So, she sets her son up with Patrick, who went to the same high school as Hugo and whom Hugo had a huge crush on.

We've made it folks! We have an LGTB lifetime movie, Hallmark, you are next! This was adorable, what else can I say? Ben and Blake were great, amazing chemistry, and the fact that they are married in real life made this 100% times better. Also, Fran Drescher made this movie funny and energetic. (whenever she would scream from outside, she made me giggle like a little girl) My favorite thing about this was probably Hugo, who was a dork, adorable and relatable.

The only thing I hated about this was the "having to chose between love and career". I really hate that trope.

I hope this is just the beginning. Patrick said: "We are rebuilding this place for the next generation". I want that to apply to these cheesy movies as well. The world is a dark world already, specially for LGTB people so if we can have that, it's a step in the right direction. I want more representation, more LGTB leads in these movies, both the characters and actors.
